Minion

I've been told more than once to try and make minions of "Despicable Me" but I thought it's too complicated, I didn't try until just recently. And so I succumbed to people's urging and I'm glad I did.

I haven't seen the movie and I'm not familiar with who is who. However, I did search old friend Google for reference. So he's the most common search result I got so I made him. Anyone knows who he is?

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

My nephew likes the teenage mutant ninja turtles so I thought of making one. I totally forgot who his favorite character is but because his mom bought his a Leonardo costume before, I figured that would be his fave.

I hope you guys don't mind the dirty hand lol. I was playing with pearl white mica powder when I took this picture thus the pecks of white on my thumb. Nevertheless, I'm really proud of this creation. Which of the turtles do you like the most?

Miniature Bath Tub

I like the blue/teal polymer clay that I recently got so I put them into good use. One of those I made is this tiny bath tub

I used the teal clay and mixed it with a little bit of white for the water, wrapped it around a white clay to form the tub. I rolled some tiny tiny balls of translucent clay and dabbed a little pearl white mica powder on top. I like how it looks and I'm totally loving the mica powder :)

My antique addiction

No I'm not addicted to the real antique but I am addicted to the antique look that you get by combining gold mica powder and black polymer clay. And my first project is this:

It's a black rose dabbed with gold. I've always wanted to try this and so I did and I'm quite happy with the outcome. I made an old camera using the same black polymer clay but at this very moment, its still in the oven. I also need to put some finishing touches so I decided to post it on later date. Any suggestions of what would look good with black and gold? I want to try some more ;)

My youtube channel

I finally opened a youtube channel. Click here --> My Crafted Dreams

I had a different channel that I used to upload videos before which is I ♥ Pastel Pink but I decided since I opened this blog, I want both my blog and youtube channel to have the same name. I will still be keeping my first channel for personal and more private use but I "may be" moving my craft videos from the old channel to the new one. Anyway, my first video is about my homemade cabochon collections where you can see the cabochons I made including those that I already posted here.

I'd appreciate if you guys can click like and subscribe :)

Any suggestion you want me to make in my next video?

Date with...

I got this idea off of CoolRiceBunnies of youtube who made cakerolls and thought I'd make my own version. So here is a cup of coffee with a matching Little Twin Stars cupcake and the other set is a cup of hot chocolate with a matching hello kitty cupcake.

I like how this turned out especially the yellow one. I put filter on the photo but it looks brighter in real life. The whipped cream is made of white clay rolled into thin ropes and twirled together so it would give the illusion of clouds. I think that's my new favorite.

So who are you going to have date with? Coffee with Little Twin Stars or a cup of hot choco with Hello Kitty?

Decoden Project #2

A day after I made my first decoden oroject, I found this tub of glitters and thought I'd make it my project too. The theme I used was yellow with chocolate drizzle on the side. The main piece is the yellow popsicle which I really like and bought in the craft shop in the mall. I also included a ribbon and a scoop of ice cream, put in some silver cachous and yellow micro-marbles.

Now this tub will never be boring again :)

First Decoden Project

So i finally gotten the chance to try this decoden project that everyone has been talking about for at least a year now. My first project is my old iPhone case which i like so much because of the aluminum sides which gives a sophisticated look but because there's a part that was broken on the side so I just decides its time to turn it into something kawaii.

I've always loved Hello Kitty even as a child so I thought I'd make it the center piece in this project. I also included cabochons that were in the last batch I purchased which you can read in my previous post. The pink whipped cream is from whipple set. I added micro-marbles, some silver cachous and that's what came out of it. I think its pretty good for a first time. I enjoyed making this and hoping I'd make more soon.

Lollipop

Someone requested this from me. It's one of the basics that I was taught when I was just starting so I didn't have second thoughts of making it.

Yup! It's a lollipop! with a letter "K" on it since the name of the one who requested starts with K. :)

Cake with cream

Over a year ago, I bought a whipple set. So I used most of what's in the set except for this:

The cream is still soft at the bottom (near the cap) so I made a cake and frosted it with the whipped cream.

Its not perfect but I like how it turned out. The cream isn't enough though to create another project but thought I'd keep the whipped cream bag and reuse it. Hopefully, it will work ;)

Sweet Cabochons!

Weee! Yay! I was so excited when I got this package that I couldn't wait to get home to open it. I actually chose courier's option for branch pick-up since the branch is near my workplace and in fact I pass by it every time I commute to work. So anyway, the moment I reached my table, I opened the package and just totally forgot to take a picture. Thankfully, it wasn't that damaged.

And here's what's inside...

Yup! Its 100 pieces of sweets cabochons!!!

They were so cute and looked delicious that I was tempted to bite on one of them (but of course, I didn't :P).

It was so difficult to choose a favorite so I chose several (ha!).

First ones... I'm a bit obsessed with hearts so I love the heart shaped sweets included in this package especially the cookie and the lollipop and the flan and the cakes and the... Wait! That's all of the heart shaped stuff!! :P

My second favorite and made it even better because of the colors (I love pastel/light colors) are the m&m's!

It would have been a lot better if there were more than two but I guess its better than none ;)

A lot of these cabochons are really small that when I got my favorite smallest one to take a picture of it, it took me several attempts just to make the camera NOT focus on my index finger and focus on the cabochon instead.

But hey, there's still heart in there :) and notice how small it is!

Anyway, I think they'll be going to my collection box for the meantime. I still don't have the time to make silicone clay (I have air dry clay from daiso and is thinking of using that to make whipped cream clay) so these cabochons are safe... for now.

Miniature Bread and Butter

I had a very productive weekend. I was able to make several polymer clay charms but my favorite is this bread and butter charm.

I was just messing with my beige and brown clay because I was planning to make a girl but I just can't seem to make it work the way I want to. So instead of totally giving up, I just turned them into a bread, took a small amount of yellow to make two small pieces of butter and that's what came out

On another note, I just started blogging again. (Yey! *throws confetti*) I used to blog but because of lack of free time (and my addiction to Kabam's The Hobbit: Kingdoms of Middle Earth game), I stopped without realizing it. But now I'm finally back and on a totally new blog. I don't know why but I just feel like starting all over again. The links above doesn't work yet but I'll make them work ;) in the near future.
